Public Consultation on Bearded Dragon Sculpture Proposal

Public Consultation on Bearded Dragon Sculpture Proposal

Introduction

Narrandera Shire Council is excited to propose the installation of a Bearded Dragon Sculpture at the Narrandera Destination and Discovery Hub (DDH). This sculpture will serve as an artistic representation of the local Ngarrung-dera totem, the Bearded Dragon, which is an important symbol of our community's heritage.

Purpose of the Sculpture

The sculpture is designed to enhance the cultural landscape of Narrandera and provide a focal point for both locals and visitors. It aims to highlight our deep connection with Aboriginal culture, and the Bearded Dragon's significance to the community, while also enriching the visitor experience at the DDH.

Public Feedback

We want to hear from you! We are inviting all community members to share their thoughts on the design, placement, and cultural relevance of the proposed sculpture. Your feedback will be crucial in ensuring that this project truly reflects our shared values and vision for the future.
