The Youth Food Trailer has arrived and needs some colour. The Youth Advisory Council is running a competition to find an awesome artwork.

?Comp rules: entrants must be between 12-24 years old.

The Youth Food Trailer is a fully equipped food caravan to be operated by the Narrandera Youth Advisory Council. Young people will be given an opportunity to prepare and serve a variety of healthy foods in conjunction with Narrandera High School Food Technology class. All profits will go to youth related projects and programs within the shire. 

The project will encourage inclusivity and diversity with all young people given the opportunity, not only to gain much-needed work ready skills, but also leadership, mentoring, and increasing their confidence and self-esteem. Accredited training will also be delivered by our local TAFE in Food Handling and Hospitality. The food caravan will attend many local events, street parades and festivals and will operate from the Narrandera Library Youth Space during school holidays. 

The project has robust support from the Narrandera community including the business sector, TAFE and the High school.
