The team here at Historic Star Lodge & Station Master’s House is very proud of the accommodation we provide to our guests. Both properties are National Trust and Heritage sites. They offer a stylish choice for guests seeking the nostalgia of our Outback Railway History. In 2009, "The Star" adorned the pages of the Australian Passport, becoming iconic and emblematic for the whole sector of fine country hotels that helped forge a national identity. Our rooms are large, clean and luxuriously comfortable. The Station House especially has been furnished throughout with quality Australian and Anglo/European antique pieces that speak in soft and loud tones of a lost craftsmanship. They also complement the architectural flourishes and charm of these lodgings, purpose-built adjacent to the impressively-restored Narrandera Railway Station.
