Get Your Hands Dirty for Make a Difference Week!
Narrandera Landcare Group is hosting a fun propagation day at the Community Food Garden (Showgrounds) on Wednesday, June 5th from 10-12pm. Get your hands dirty and help propagate plants that will help make a difference!
This event is part of Make a Difference Week, an annual week of global restoration action hosted by the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER). During this week, individuals and organisations around the world host local volunteer events focused on ecological restoration.
Make a Difference Week gives everyone, everywhere a chance to positively impact their local communities by engaging in hands-on restoration projects. Through activities like tree planting, invasive species removal, and native seedling propagation, we can all play a role in restoring and revitalizing our natural environments.
Join us on June 5th to dig in the dirt, meet new friends, and make a difference for our community garden and local ecosystem.
Kids are welcome too! Let's get growing and restoring, Narrandera!
