In partnership with The CAD Factory, Western Riverina Arts is mapping out arts and culture across the Western Riverina area incorporating the local government areas of Leeton, Griffith, Murrumbidgee and Narrandera.
The mapping team from both organisations will be moving around the region and holding four open community discussions on arts and culture with the question; "What is valuable to you?". Everyone is welcome to attend and no answer is too small or too large to discuss. Some examples of what is culturally valuable could relate to social, environmental, material, academic, scientific, emotional, historical or natural.
These discussions will form the basis for the mapping team who will then travel to all parts of the region and work on visualising and condensing this map to a form for everyone to enjoy.
The discussions will be informal and welcoming and a light morning and afternoon tea will be served. If you are unable to attend in person, a livestream link is available on WRA’s Facebook event page for each session.
