Youth Week 2025 is fast approaching, and Narrandera Shire Council is proud to announce a vibrant program of events, workshops, and activities dedicated to the young people of our community. Running from 9 April to 17 April 2025, Youth Week offers an exciting range of free events for young people aged 12 to 24.
This year's theme, "We Are the Future, and the Future is Now!", will be brought to life through a series of activities, designed to inspire, educate, and connect the youth of Narrandera. Whether your interests lie in the arts, sports, music, or simply meeting new people, there is something for everyone throughout the week.
Narrandera Shire Council Mayor, Cr Neville Kschenka voiced his support, saying, "Youth Week provides an important opportunity for young people in our community to come together, showcase their talents, and participate in activities that foster personal growth and social connection."
"As a Council, we are committed to supporting the development of our youth, and we are proud to host such a diverse range of events that reflect the energy, creativity, and aspirations of the young people of Narrandera."

- Driving Lessons: available for youth aged 16 to 24. Bookings through Council's Community Liaison Officer.
- Art Mural with the Wild Easel: Thursday, 10 April from 5.30pm at The Shack.
- Mind and Movement Clinic with Goanna Academy: Saturday, 12 April from 10.30am - ticketed event.
- Reformer Pilates with Emplower Health: Monday, 14 April and Tuesday, 15 April - ticketed event.
- Golf Lessons with Narrandera Junior Golf - Sameera: Monday, 14 April - ticketed event.
- Vaping and Smoking Workshop: Tuesday, 15 April from 11am at the Library Youth Space with Free, Fresh and Fit Griffith AMS.
- Clay Hangers at The Hive: Wednesday, 16 April from 10.30am - ticketed event.
- Fishing Workshop with DPIRD Fisheries: Thursday, 17 April from 10am at the Narrandera Fisheries Centre - ticketed event.
- Totem Skate Workshop: Friday, 18 April from 12pm at Narrandera Park - ticketed event.
