Update: Works have now been completed, and Augusta Road is now open to the public. 

On behalf of Transport for NSW and UGL Regional Linx , Narrandera Shire Council is advising the community of scheduled maintenance work on the Viaduct at Augusta Street. The works are to be carried out by UGL Regional Linx on behalf of Transport for NSW. 

The work will take place from 8 April 2025 to 10 April 2025, between 7am and 5pm. 

UGLRL will remove three unsafe spans from the viaduct to eliminate risks and ensure safety for both the railway line and Augusta Street. These spans are deteriorated and pose a risk of falling debris. The remaining viaduct structure will stay in place and be fenced off until a long-term solution is determined by Transport for NSW.
