Narrandera Shire Council, in partnership with the Narrandera Aboriginal Elders Liaison Group, is excited to invite the community to the official opening of the Wiradjuri Honour Wall on Saturday, 19 October 2024. This event will take place at Marie Bashir Park, and aims to celebrate and honour the rich cultural heritage and achievements of the Wiradjuri people. 

Join us for a day filled with activities, including displays of local Indigenous creative projects at the Destination and Discovery Hub, traditional dancing, traditional smoking ceremony, and more. 

A light lunch will be provided for all attendees. 

This event is free and open to everyone, so bring your family and friends to celebrate this important milestone in our community. Together, we can honour the past, present, and future of the Wiradjuri people.
