Narrandera sports precinct has undergone a remarkable transformation in readiness for the 2024 Riverina Football Netball League (RFNL) finals series. With a commitment to excellence and lots of hard work behind the scenes, our sports ground and stadium are better than ever.
Recent Sportsground enhancements showcase our dedication to providing top-notch facilities for athletes, officials, and fans. Here's a glimpse of what's new:
- Video Scoreboard: A new addition providing vibrant and engaging visuals to enhance the spectator experience.
- Upgraded Clubhouse and Changerooms: State-of-the-art facilities that meet the highest AFL standards, ensuring comfort and convenience for everyone.
- Eastern Drainage System: An advanced drainage system keeping the field in perfect condition even after heavy rains.
- New Spectator Weather Sheds: Positioned at the northern end of the sports ground, this shelter ensures fans stay dry and comfortable regardless of the weather.
- Enhanced Coaches and Officials Offices: Modern, well-equipped spaces to support strategic planning and communication.
- Power and Data at Interchange Benches: Upgraded facilities for seamless tech use during matches.
- 500 Lux Lighting System: High-quality lighting ensures excellent visibility during any weather conditions.
The Narrandera Stadium has also seen impressive upgrades to support netball finals:

We recently demonstrated our preparedness by successfully hosting the South-West Junior Grand Finals on 17 August, showcasing the fantastic condition of our facilities. The RFNL Elimination Final on 25 August also received high praise from the Riverina Football League for our venue's outstanding performance, even in challenging weather.
Our dedicated groundskeeping team has worked tirelessly to make these improvements possible, and their commitment is reflected in the exceptional quality of our facilities.
