Following the appointment of designers Total Creations and Services, Council has continued to review and refine the design elements for the Lake Talbot Water Park redevelopment.

The latest design of the facility includes the following notable amendments/inclusions:

• New toddler pool 123m2 with a variable depth from zero to 500mm.
• Rampage pool has new concrete floor with variable depth and zero entry area on the northern corner.
• Olympic pool - Hob has been replaced with wetdeck on the northern end.
• Olympic pool - new floor has been added for a length of 10m to retain the depth of 1.2m

This design is considered to incorporate as many changes as possible from both a cost and time perspective. The final layout will create a facility that the whole family can enjoy, catering to all ages groups and incorporating ‘Learn to Swim’ activities.

Council is very grateful to all community members who gave feedback on the project.

Work on the next stage is due to commence as soon as the current season ends.
