George Cowan, General Manager of Narrandera Shire Council, announces Mr Cian Middleton's appointment to Deputy General Manager Corporate and Community, replacing Mr Martin Hiscox, who retired recently after 38 years with Council. 

With a broad range of experience as an MBA-qualified NSW local government executive, Mr Middleton's background includes strategic planning and service delivery across the corporate service function of communications and customer service, finance, governance, and risk management, human resources, information technology, integrated planning and reporting, and work health and safety. 

General Manager George Cowan stated, "I believe Cian, who has family connections in the area, will be a good fit for this organisation and the community. He will commence duties on 14 October 2024."
